From September 2011 to March 2012, we will be considering a new series of topics entitled ‘Journey with God’.

1) September

Attempting to live according to the teaching and example of Jesus

· The Lordship of Christ

· The authority of the Bible

· Baptism for Believers

2) October

Making time regularly to read the Bible and pray

· A Worshipping Community

· Prayer and Bible Study

3) November

Giving priority to Sunday worship and sharing the Lord’s Supper

· What is worship?

· What are the meanings of the Communion?

4) December

Being a Church Member

· What it means to be a church member

· The Baptist form of Church government

5) January

Caring for one another and fostering good relationships within the fellowship

· A Sacrificial Community

6) February

Sharing in the life and work of the church by offering time and talents

· Spiritual/practical gifts

· Meeting the needs of the church

7) March

Moving out

· An Inclusive Community

· A Prophetic Community

· A Missionary Community

The evenings will commence with a meal together at 8.00 p.m.

The course will include games and interactive participation as well as PowerPoint presentations and a 15 minute summary slot for the minister

Ending at about 10.00 p.m. – venues and dates to be decided by mutual consent
