Following Jesus' example working to show God's love to all through worship and service
ALL WELCOME ALL Listen to the Peace Vigil Contributions
This is the promise that we all said at the vigil.
Please say it now and pray the words.
We will go forth into the world in peace We will be of good courage We will hold fast to that which is good We will render to no one evil for evil We will support the weak We will help the afflicted And each other
We will honour all people
We will go forth into the world in peace
We will be of good courage
We will hold fast to that which is good
We will render to no one evil for evilWe will strengthen the faint-hearted
We will support the weak
We will help the afflicted
And each other
Go in peace to love and to serve We will seek peace and pursue it.
Go in peace to love and to serve
We will seek peace and pursue it.
Welcome to the website of Harrow Baptist Church. We are
situated in the heart of Harrow town in North West London, a short walk from
the main transport hub. We are open throughout the week as well as for our
worship on Sunday.
You will be given a warm welcome!
We are a diverse group of all ages who have come from a wide variety of backgrounds and countries. Many in our community have grown up in different types of churches and some are new to church and just starting out learning about faith.
We are an inclusive church and come together to worship and serve Jesus in a spirit of tolerance to each other and understanding of our diversity of backgrounds and faith journey. We are open to each other and our different points of view as we seek to learn more of God.
We aim to serve our local area in all its diversity from the
lonely, the homeless and the vulnerable, to families, businesses, charities and
community groups. We have a variety of activities going on through the week.
Look through our website and if you want to get in touch, have a look at the ‘Contact Us’ page – we’d love to hear from you!
Wherever you are on your journey of faith, you are very welcome and we’d love to meet you
Lord, I want to meet with You,
I want to tell You about the things that are troubling me.
I want to share my joys and tell you how about my day.
In the quiet of this hour I want to know You are with me.
In the stillness I will wait for You to come to me.
